A rousing win by the 1st XI in the previous round looks likely to see MOCCC avoid relegation and remain in the top grade, Dunstan Shield, for 2013/14. Meanwhile, the other senior teams are all in line for finals appearances.
The 2nd XI’s loss leaves them needing to defeat Richmond Union to play finals. Still a chance for a home semi-final if we win and other results go our way.
The thirds are narrowly on top of the table and are certain finalists. A win will secure a home semi.
The 4th XI is a solid second and all but assured of a finals appearance. They face Trinity Willison and STC South Camberwell in the next fortnight; a win against either will secure a home semi.
The ‘Bald Eagles’ veterans team missed the finals by a game after going under to top side Deepdene Bears in the final game on February 3.
