November 2006. This was an historic match! It was the inaugural season for the MOCCC Juniors. After Paul Dinneen had successfully introduced the Milo Have A Go Program the previous season, it was time to enter some junior sides into the ECA competition. For our inaugural Under 10 team this was one of their first games (played at Marcellin). Chasing an improbable win it came down to the last over. Rosie Dillon was at the crease and with 2 balls remaining, we needed 8 runs to win the match. Rosie promptly hooked the second last ball for a six (almost unheard of in Under 10′s). With two needed off the last ball, Rosie kept her nerve and got some bat on the ball. However they could only scamper through for a single; match was drawn.
